Bloomfield Fabienne - stable name Ruby - is an exceptionally stunning mare, elegant and powerful. She is a solid, athletic, and strong individual with exceptional paces and conformation. Ruby is blessed with the gentlest of natures and superbly obedient to handle. She has passed this super temperament on to the one filly foal we have bred from her in 2024.
Ruby's bloodlines are bred for superior performance in the dressage, eventing, and showjumping arenas. Her sire Fiderstern (dec) (2007, Fidertanz x Belcam Charisma/Capone) was an elite Australian Warmblood of international quality, who stood at Bloomfield Farm in Victoria. A magnificent type who was an outstanding stallion, with a highly intelligent and very trainable temperament, which he passed on to his offspring. As Fiderstern is now deceased, the purchase of Bloomfield Fabienne offers a rare opportunity to enter these famous bloodlines.
Fiderstern is the sire of WHF Frequency (Neville), winner of the Equestrian Victoria CCIYJ2*L at the 2024 Melbourne International 3 Day Event as well as the 2023 winner of the WA Equestrian in the Park Diamond Class.
The dam side sire line reverts back to the famous Levantos - the highly regarded Holsteiner stallion, known for his influence in European sport horse breeding, particularly in jumping; as well as the Thoroughbred lineage through Ladykiller.
Ruby was purchased from Bloomfield in ......, then carefully raised to allow for WB growth, in the foothills of Perth with consistent husbandry and veterinary care. She has provided her rider with many happy years of local competition in dressage, eventing, and showjumping before being retired to stud in 2023.
True to her nature, Ruby proved to be an exceptional broodmare, with textbook pregnancy, foaling, and foal care. Her filly, born in 2024, by Yalambi Messiah, was every bit as outstanding in quality, looks, and temperament as her mother.
Ruby ground manners cannot be faulted; she is very easy to handle, float, stable and farrier. Ruby's rider has retired from riding and her owners are looking to downsize in the future. Therefore, in the best interests of the horse's stud career, we have made the very difficult decision to sell Ruby to a home interested in continuing her breeding career.
